She is the first female Mayor of the Capital, elected on 19 June 2016.

He is a lawyer. He graduated in Law at the University of Roma Tre with a thesis on “The criminal liability for the contents of electronic communications in the convergence system”. As a professional, she has dealt with civil, judicial and out-of-court law, and in particular copyright, intellectual property, and new technologies.

In 2007 she was named a student of the subject at the University of Rome “Foro Italico”.

In 2011 she began his commitment as an activist in the 5 Star Movement, of which he founded the group in the XIV Town Hall.

In 2013 she was elected to the Capitoline Assembly for the Movement. During his term as municipal councillor he follows the work of the Commission for Culture, Work, Youth Policies, School and the activities of the Commission for Social Policies and Health.

From the start of its term of office, it has focused on transparency, participation, budgetary consolidation and sustainability. He firmly believes in legality: a value to be cultivated daily and concretely, fighting the mafias and criminal groups that for years have polluted the civil life of the city. In this sense, there have been many results achieved under your administration.
