Director of Giornale Radio Rai and Radio Uno


Born in Rome in 1960, graduated with honors in Modern Literature at the Sapienza University of Rome, she began her professional activity during her university years, collaborating with newspapers and magazines (La Repubblica, Specchio Economico, Pagine), with the theatre (conceived images for the director Krzysztof Zanussi) and realizing as director industrial documentaries, on organic farming and for the European Parliament.

He began collaborating on RAI in 1980, for the newly born Rai Tre in cultural columns (with interviews, among others, to Natalia Ginzburg and Primo Levi); then – from 1986 to 1989 – at Tg2 with the programs “Focus” and “Start” and for Rai2 with “Rosa e Chic”.

From 1989 to 2007 he worked at Testata Servizi Parlamentari where, in 1999, he became an Envoy. In addition to services and inquiries on Italian and European politics he conducts the direct from the Senate and Chamber, the political tribunes, the news and the column “Seven days in Parliament”. He made the official institutional documentaries of the Parliament on the history and operation of the Chambers and on “Art in Montecitorio”.

In 2015, President Napolitano awarded her the honour of Officer of the Republic.

In 2018 she was appointed Deputy Director of Tg1, with the qualification of Chief Editor.

In May 2020 she was appointed Editor of the RAI Giornale Radio Magazine – “GR1”, “GR2”, “GR3”, “GR Parliament” – and Director of Radio Uno, the first woman to direct the main network and radio publication of public service after more than 90 years of history.

In April 2021, she was appointed Board Member of the Fondazione PubblicitĂ  Progresso.
