Sara Serafino, Italian Carabinieri Captain, began her military career in 2004.
Able to speak English, graduated in “Law” and enabled as a “Lawyer”, she positively passed the “Course of Legislative Studies” in the academic year 2016 – 2017 and partakes since 2020 in the “Interforce Council on Gender Perspective of the Italian Chief of Defence”.
After her first employment in Chieti as Staff Officer in the Litigation Office of the Carabinieri National Administrative Center and Head of the Financial Management Section of the Administrative Service of the Carabinieri Region “Abruzzo”, admitted to the permanent service, she attended the Application Course at the Carabinieri Officers School and was appointed to the Airport Carabinieri Security Unit in Rome.
Subsequently, she held the positions of Staff Officer and Head of Section at the Carabinieri Provincial Command in Rome, Staff Officer at the Legislation Office of the Carabinieri General Headquarters.
Since 2019, she has been in force at the Office of Legal Affairs and Military Condition of the Carabinieri General Headquarters, where she holds the position of “Military Condition and Equal Opportunities” Branch Chief, an office dedicated to the examination of the moral condition of personnel and to the practice of their legal protection.
