Entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience in logistics and transportation, she is a licensed International Forwarder and has a Bachelor degree in Business Administration.
She gained her experience at first in private companies and then, as Top Manager, in public firms listed in the Stock Exchange. She has proven to be successful in multi-category business, developing and handling international activities, supervising special projects as well.
She was the first female chairperson of a logistic association in Italy by covering, for two terms in a row, the role of President of Freight Leaders Council. During her leadership, she received the “Premio Sviluppo Sostenibile” (Sustainable Development Award) under the patronage of the Presidency of the Italian Republic and the appreciation of the Italian Government for her active role in promoting the Green Economy.
On many occasions, she showed her commitment to the logistics sector as lecturer in post-graduate Masters at the University and as speaker in both national and international conventions (OSCE-IATA), writing various articles for both Italian and foreign magazines.
She currently is the CEO & Owner of ITALIA CARGO, where she actively deals with both international shipments/logistics (ex. e-commerce, fashion) and oversize loads. She has also created two specialized divisions, ArteCargo and PharmaCargo, with which she has respectively arranged transports of Fine Arts (such as Leonardo Da Vinci’s and Rubens’ artworks) and temperature-controlled samples of infected blood, parts of international studies against Covid-19.
She is Member of the Committee for the Development of Female Entrepreneurship of the Rome Chamber of Commerce, in representation, as Board Member, of CONFETRA ALAS (National Confederation of Transportation and Logistics).
Her high attention to social issues, from gender equality to environmental sustainability, is also reflected in the activities of ITALIA CARGO, a firm that boasts high-professional and strong female elements.
