Lydie Hudson is the CEO of Sustainability, Research & Investment Solutions and a member of the Executive Board of Credit Suisse Group since 2019. In her current role, Lydie oversees the bank’s development of innovative research, advisory, and investment solutions for wealth management, corporate and institutional clients.Furthermore she directs the firm’s sustainability strategy – including the client ESG product and partnership offering and Credit Suisse’s own ESG commitments, including net zero and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion ambitions.
Lydie has been with Credit Suisse for over thirteen years, previously serving as the Group Chief Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Officer. In that role she oversaw Credit Suisse’s compliance and regulatory environment and the bank’s policies and controls. Prior to that, Lydie held a variety of Chief Operating Officer and Strategy roles across global markets and asset management. She founded the Credit Suisse Global Women’s Financial Forum in New York in 2017, and looks forward to hosting the 5th annual event in September 2021.
Lydie was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2017 where she is serving a five year term. In addition, she currently sits on the board of Good Shepherd Services, a large non-profit in New York; and the Women’s Leadership Board at Harvard. Prior to joining Credit Suisse in 2008, Lydie worked at Lehman Brothers and The Boston Consulting Group.
Lydie holds an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School where she was honored for her exceptional contribution to the HBS community for her efforts in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. She holds a B.A. from Middlebury College where she graduated cum laude and with honors in International Politics & Economics.
