Elisa Manacorda is a science journalist, founder and director of “Galileo. Giornale di scienza” (www.galileonet.it).
She is a regular contributor to the Health section of La Repubblica, and she has written stories about science, health and medicine for the main Italian media.
She teaches journalistic languages at the Master SGP at Sapienza University of Rome and collaborates with the Master in Science Communication at the University of Ferrara. Her interest in gender issues, and gender based medicine in particular, dates back to the early 2000s, within the project “Medicina, singolare maschile” with Associazione Donne&Scienza.
She is author, with Letizia Gabaglio, of “The X Factor” book on gender medicine.
