Chiara Saraceno, honorary fellow at Collegio Carlo Alberto, Torino, former professor in sociology of the family at the University of Turin and 2006-2011 research professor at the Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung,she is corresponding fellow of the British Academy and Grand’ufficiale della Repubblica italiana. 1996-2001 chair of the Italian Commission on poverty and social exclusion, at present she chairs the scientific committee for the evaluation of the minimum income.
