Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Corriere della Sera


Barbara Stefanelli, born in 1965, is a Milanese journalist with a vicious career all within the Corriere della Sera. She graduated in German, studied in Heidelberg and Vienna and has a 15-year-old daughter, who bears the name of Maria Grazia Cutuli, a correspondent of the Corriere killed in Afghanistan in 2011.

Since 2009 she has been Deputy Editor and since May 2015 Deputy Editor of the Via Solferino newspaper, of which she has also been Editor-in-Chief and Foreign Editor-in-Chief. In 2011 he curated the launch of the cultural insert La Lettura. And he designed the collective La27ora Blog which, born with a female prevalence, was then opened to all the signatures of the Corriere and to the contributions of readers, readers and experts.

With La27ora Barbara Stefanelli published for the types of Marsilio the book “This is not love”, an inquiry on violence against women, a finalist at the Premio Estense 2013, and “Maternity, the time of new mothers”.

In November 2013 he also launched “Il Tempo delle Donne”, a city schedule of meetings/ shows/ workshops born from the collaboration between La27ora, iodonna, Valored, Fondazionecorriere.
